Description

DBCA requires service of qualified contractor to undertake erosion control and track surface improvement works within the nominated areas along approximately 16km of the existing Cape to Cape Track in the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park.

The works shall consist of, but not be limited to:

  • Repair eroded track surfaces using in-situ natural surface materials or imported materials and construction of track drainage features, including, grade reversals, side cut drains and water bars.
  • Clear vegetation from the track corridor including pruning to nominated width and height and removal of vegetation from the track tread.
  • Construction shall be implemented with minimum site impact and all works including ground disturbance are to strictly remain within the existing trail alignment and the existing track footprint.
  • airlift of materials and services where required.
