Panel Arrangement for the Provision of Private Investigation Services for the Insurance Commission of Western Australia

Proposals are sought for the provision of private investigation services to the Insurance Commission.
The two major business areas of the Insurance Commission are the Motor Injury Insurance and RiskCover Divisions. These divisions are responsible in part for managing claims relating to motor vehicle, personal injuries, workers compensation and industrial diseases.

A key component of insurance claims management is the investigation of crash or injury circumstances and/or representations made by involved parties. The Insurance Commission has historically engaged a panel of licensed investigators to assist in claims management processes by undertaking factual, stress, surveillance and motor vehicle crash investigations.

The expected outcome of this procurement is for the Insurance Commission to establish a highly competent panel of factual, stress, surveillance and motor vehicle crash investigators who will ethically conduct their services for the benefit of claims management. Those selected will be able to meet our specified service standards and have demonstrated a commitment to customer service excellence with an over-arching requirement to provide value for money.
