Description
The Department of Transport’s Oceanographic Services section maintains historical tide, wave and current data that requires further processing and analysis, so it can be used to support the Department’s Coastal Facilities, Project Delivery, Coastal Management and Maritime Planning programs.
One person is required to process and analyse historical oceanographic data on a weekly basis, generally one day per week, if required. This will be part of a data validation and quality control process. Once validated and quality assured by the Consultant, the data must be archived into the Department’s data management system by the Consultant
