Arborist services for Leadbeater’s Possum surveys: install and retrieve camera traps

Arborists are required to work with DELWP ecologists over an 18 month period to install and retrieve camera traps in montane ash forests of the Victorian Central Highlands. Cameras are required to be installed 3–35m above the ground either on Ash-type eucalypts, or other suitable species as identified by DELWP staff. Arborists will also assist in habitat assessments. All sites are located off-track accessed by walking through dense forest requiring arborists to carry all necessary climbing equipment. The work will be undertaken over multiple 5-day field trips requiring field teams to stay overnight in nearby towns.
