Expression of Interest
The Whyalla City Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified organisations for all or part of the following:
§Provision of Landfill Management and Operations services as generally detailed in the attached ‘Draft Mt Laura Landfill Management and Operations Contract’
§Provision of alternatives for disposal of Council’s putrescible wastes.
Proposals should be outcomes based to maximise resource recovery and minimise waste disposal to landfill, and could involve combinations of resource recovery, transfers stations, waste transport and landfill.
The details contained within the attached ‘Draft Mt Laura Landfill Management and Operations Contract’ should be considered as reference standards for any final specification, subject to the outcome of EPA licence conditions and proposals resulting from this Expression of Interest.
As part of this Expression of Interest process The City of Whyalla is also benchmarking and assessing its ability to perform all or part of the required services.
