Design, Manufacture, Supply & Install 2 x Ash Slurry Pipelines & a Water Supply Pipeline, Kogan Creek Power Station

1.1 General Scope of Works and Mandatory Site Visit

The Contractor shall manufacture, supply, deliver, install, test and provide all associated quality assurance and documentation for two (2) ash slurry pipelines, and a water supply pipeline, each approximately 4,500 meters long, to form an integral part of the total ash slurry pumping system at the 750MW coal fired Kogan Creek power station.

The Contractor shall provide all labour, special tools, plant, equipment, transport, cranes and construction materials necessary or usual for the safe, convenient, reliable, efficient and satisfactory completion and operation of the Works.

The Contractor shall optimise plant processes, layouts, constructability and long term maintainability of the Works in its designs.

The Contractor shall project manage, design, supply, manufacture, erect, and test the complete works which meet the requirements of the Contract. The Purchaser shall make the required changes to the plant control system and commission the new pipelines. The Contractor shall provide complete Quality assurance and other documentation associated with the construction and for the operation and maintenance of the pipelines, including as-built drawings.

The Contractor must make provision for all accommodation and transport to and from the Site for its workforce.
CS Energy will be at the premises 1039 Banana Bridge Road, Brigalow, QLD 4412 on Wednesday 25 November 2009 meeting at 12 noon to conduct prospective Respondents on a site inspection. The Respondent shall send at least one and not more than two representative for this inspection.

Attendance at the site inspection shall be a prerequisite to submitting a proposal. Failure to attend will result in a proposal being rejected in accordance with these Conditions of Proposal. All attendees must have the appropriate PPE in accordance with the attached Site Conditions. See Section A Clause 8.
