Provision of Brokerage Services for Principal Controlled Insurance Programs

Main Roads and the Public Transport Authority are both seeking a suitably qualified broker to undertake the following services in support of each agency’s identical Principal Controlled Insurance Program (PCIP):

• Maintain current capital works Annual Floater Program.

• Maintain current maintenance works Annual Floater Program.

• Maintain project-specific programs for current major capital works contracts.

• Implement new project-specific programs for future major capital works contracts.

• Maintain and develop relationships with existing PCIP underwriters.

• Provide claims management assistance.

• Provide other relevant ongoing advice and assistance as required.

Each agency has identical insurance brokerage needs. State Government has identified a cost saving opportunity by combining procurement efforts which will result in two separate contracts being awarded from a single process. The Contractor will provide the same brokerage services under separate Customer Contracts, to both Main Roads and the Public Transport Authority. Each contract will be exclusive to the agency in question but in all other ways adhere to the quoted prices, terms and conditions set out in this Request.
