Description
The Department of National Parks, Sports and Racing is inviting offers from contractors for the construction of the Lobster Creek crossing at Conondale National Park.
The Contractor is responsible for the Construction of a causeway crossing as per the Engineer drawings, including but not limited to -
• Supply and Installation of Erosion control and monitoring throughout construction
• Excavation of causeway to original creek bed level
• Construction of piped causeway
• Supply and Installation of road signage, flood markers and guideposts
• Supply and Installation of a permanent marker
• Project management and co-ordination with subcontractor/s
• Consultation with Engineers designated by QPWS to ensure required inspections are completed
• Consultation with Wildlife spotter designated by QPWS to ensure they are present during excavation works
• The on-site construction period has been nominated at 4 weeks from contract commencement. It is required that the contractor schedule the on-site works to meet these nominated times in order to minimise interruption to ongoing operations.
