Provision of Training Package Design for Community Corrections

The Supplier will design the suite of training packages for use towards the professional development of Community Corrections staff. A total of five (5) training packages will be developed for use across different groups as detailed below:

• Upfront face-to-face training of commencing case management staff
• On-the-job training of newly appointed staff
• Role Specific Training
• Elective training for nominated staff
• Mixed-mode training for all existing staff
  Separate to the above core requirements as Professional Practice Supervision package.

The Supplier will provide the following:

• Microsoft PowerPoint files suitable for use in trainings consistent with QCS Learning Management Systems which are required to be Shared Content Object Reference Model complaint;
• Training manual files suitable for use by training participants and facilitators;
• Assessment tasks suitable for gauging the comprehension and competency of training participants; and
• Mapping the Certificate 4 in Correctional Practice (Community Corrections) to the newly developed curriculum and assessment requirements
• Deliverables for Professional Practice Supervision Package:
• build a Practice Leader model to achieve best practice case management within the field;
• provide a model that can support the implementation of developed training curriculums as they are developed and rolled out allowing for feedback of such products;
• provide costings for delivery (inclusive of staff) for Practice Leaders/support across QCS;
• the model must increase the focus of staff on soft skills with the use of observed practices; and
• training of such positions to be developed.
