The provision of Certified Designs, Fabrication, Transportation and Deployment of Artificial Reef Modules off - (A) Scarborough and (B) Hervey Bay

Description
The Minister for National Parks, Recreation, Sport and Racing announced that three (3) new artificial reefs will be constructed in Queensland waters by June 2016. This forms part of the Queensland Government’s Marine Infrastructure Fund Election Commitment. Two (2) reefs (SIMPSON and HARDIE) will be constructed in waters off Hervey Bay in Great Sandy Marine Park and one (1) reef (TURNER) will be constructed off Scarborough in Moreton Bay Marine Park. The reefs are to consist of a number of free standing, complex reef modules, deployed in defined clusters within a defined permit area. The reef modules must be suitable for multiple uses such as line fishing, spear fishing, snorkelling and scuba diving.
