Wellington Point State High School - Block I - Flexispace (with design responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a new Flexible Learning Area and associated Outdoor Learning Area at Wellington Point State High School, located at 2 – 36 Badgen Road, Wellington Point QLD 4160.

The scope comprises of the refurbishment of an existing general learning Area in Block I to create a new flexible learning area (Flexispace) in addition to the design and construction of a small outdoor learning area with new terraced seating. All works are to be completed by May 2022.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
