Description

The Department of Environment and Science (DES) intend to upgrade the existing walking track starts from the North of the Marrja Boardwalk Parking area and continues back to the starting point in a loop of approximately 1.2 km.
The boardwalk sits between Oliver and Noah Creeks, and showcases the pristine Mangrove environment of the Daintree National Park. A large portion of the Class 3 walking track has been upgraded, and the intent of this project is to complete the upgrade. This park is an Iconic National Park and has high visitation by eco tourist operators and the general public alike.
