Waraburra SS - Pool Complex and Amenities (With Design Responsibility PQC Level 2

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a new Pool Complex and Amenities / Canteen refurbishment at Waraburra SS, located at 55 Johnson Road, Gracemere QLD 4702, as part of the Prioritised Nominated Project (PNP) program.

The works include the design and construction of a new building over the existing small swimming pool and the refurbishment of the existing amenities and canteen building to upgrade the facilities. The position of the building is outside the school grounds with good site access and ample working space. All works are to be completed by June 2024.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million
• Have certified 3rd Party Quality Assurance,

Minimum PQC Level 2 Eligibility required. (Delete if Not Required)
Where a PQC Level is stated, the Principal is not obliged to provide tender documents, consider or accept a tender unless the tenderer is appropriately registered under the Queensland Government's PQC System for that PQC Level (or higher) and categories for which the tender is invited.

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
