National Archives of Australia
Integrated Archival Management System
Details
Description
The National Archives of Australia (NAA) is seeking to upgrade its existing, digital preservation and archival management systems so that it can safely preserve the integrity of high volumes of information coming to it from agencies, enabling that information to be accessed and reused in the future.
Market responses are sought for flexible and innovative ‘best of breed” software, services and other deliverables that can contribute to an Integrated Archival Management (IAM) System, comprising end-to-end solutions for digital ingest and preservation, archival control and management, through to discovery and access. The component solutions will need to be integrated into the IAM System, and the System will need to work with some existing NAA systems by complementing their functionality.
Tenderers will be able to tender for all or part of the IAM System based on which of the functions they can offer or the services in which they specialise. NAA is seeking Tenderers to offer not just an IAM system, but also management and hands-on expertise in the integration of end to end solutions, in conjunction with a range of services and other deliverables. It is also open to delivery of the IAM System with a consortium of providers with a lead Tenderer to provide integration.
