Senior Network Engineer

The program includes a Targeted Risk Mitigation Workstream (TRM) which comprises a?set of targeted risk mitigation initiatives which will partially reduce the immediate risks associated with the current state LANs. The resource should have the following skill sets. Essential experience: Experience of NAC implementations. Experience with working with network tools that have the ability to report on what is attached to any given network segment wired or wireless (e.g. Cisco ISE). Experience of working with tools that can query end point devices attached to the network to discover more information about what the devices are and what their capabilities are (e.g. SNMP scanners). Experience of reviewing and providing input into requirement gathering activities. Experience of documenting network designs to corporate standards. Great communication skills. General networking experience: Have some experience of working with EUC (End User Computing) teams to establish information about what is attached to the network and how to keep it updated.Have experience of providing level 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve Network and/or desktop issues. Worked within established configuration and change management processes to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure. Selected and implemented security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team. Have experience of configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS). Have good experience in monitoring network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Experience of working with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution. Operate effectively as part of a wider team of professionals and is outcome oriented. General knowledge of network security protocols and standards.
