Nation Building Economic Stimulus Plan - Social Housing Initiative

Under the National Partnership Agreement on the Nation Building Economic Stimulus Plan (NBESP), the DHHS is seeking tenders from parties interested in the construction of social housing and sale of service land. Request for Tenders (RFT) are called against the following categories: 1. Off the Plan Project DHHS will consider tenders from developers wanting to sell land and dwellings based on concept plans, with the developer to undertake construction following agreement with DHHS on Detailed Design Documents prepared in accordance withthe Project Requirements. Title will transfer to the Director on the Date of Completion under the Sale off the Plan Agreement. 2. Sale of land and Design and Construction (D & C) Project DHHS will consider tenders from parties wishing to sell land and then constructing upon that land dwellings in accordance with the Project Requirements. For these projects, title to the land will transfer to the Director prior to the commencement of construction under the Sale Agreement (D&C Version). Construction will then be undertaken in accordance with the Formal Instrument of Agreement and General Conditions of Contract for D&C. 3. Sale of Land Project The Department will consider tenders from parties wishing to sell land that is suitable for residential development. These projects will be covered by the Sale Agreement.
