IT Management as-a-Service (ITMaaS)

Suppliers are invited by the State of Queensland (Principal), acting through the Department of Housing and Public Works (DHPW) to submit an offer for Invitation To Offer (ITO) number ICTSS.1804. The purpose of this ITO is to identify Suppliers who are capable of providing information technology management as-a-Service (ITMaaS) to Eligible Customers of the Principal across a range of service categories (as described in more detail in Part 4 of the ITO).

This ITO directly supports two closely related but different outcomes for the Principal, including:

• establishment of a multi-Supplier pre-qualified panel to be managed and administered by DHPW; and
• selection of one or more Suppliers for the provision of Information Technology Management as-a-Service through a Contract under the new panel arrangement for the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC);

Given the commonality of products and services requested by the State through DHPW and DPC, it has been decided that a single ITO will be issued to minimise industry overhead and promote a value for money outcome for the Queensland Government.

The Cross Functional Disciplines are applicable to all of the ICT Service Categories, to provide end users with seamless end-to-end Services, the ICT Service Categories are optional as requested by the Customer:

• IT Service Management;
• ICT Service Desk including On-site Support; and
• ICT Security Management Practices.

ICT Service Categories

• End User Compute;
• Network Management;
• IaaS, PaaS and Cloud Services;
• Application and SaaS;
• Print and Imaging; and
• Professional Services.

ICTSS.1804 Part 4 – ITO Requirements includes an overview, objectives, functions, scope and environment for each service category listed above.
