Description

The flood events associated with TC Marcia which occurred in early 2015 resulted in the destruction of the two pedestrian bridges located within Cania Gorge National Park, one located on Three Moon Creek (Dripping Rock Walking Track), and the other on Russell Gully (Bloodwood/Dragon Cave and Castle Mountain Walking tracks access). The objective is to clear the damaged structures from site and replace the Three Moon Creek bridge with a structure more resilient to future events thus resulting in much reduced future maintenance and repair costs.
