Description
Growing and sustaining Australia’s defence industry workforce is a critical component of Australia’s self-reliance, national resilience and the competitiveness of our industrial base. The Defence Industry Internship Program (DIIP) is an initiative of the Department of Defence to help Australia’s defence industry to equip itself with the skilled workforce it requires. Defence is seeking a service provider to support the delivery of the DIIP.
The objective of DIIP is to highlight pathways into the defence industry sector for tertiary students studying subjects relevant to defence industry and to defence capability requirements. DIIP provides students with an opportunity to gain experience in defence industry SMEs and provides potential employers with early exposure to the skills, aptitudes and abilities of future graduates.
