PROJECT BACKGROUND AND OVERVIEW
The Gold Coast Turf Club (GCTC) located at Racecourse Road, Bundall conducts 58 thoroughbred TAB race meetings annually and accommodates the training of more than 500 race horses daily, making it one of the largest training facilities in Queensland. Improvements are necessary to the existing sand training track to facilitate the ongoing training demands.
CONTRACT SCOPE
Racing Queensland (RQ) wish to invite Tenders for the provision of Engineering Design Consultant Services for the schematic design phase, detailed design documentation phase, and construction delivery phase for the sand training track as described in the project scope.
This service is to provide design advice, engineering drawings and documentation sufficient to facilitate a design suitable to define the project requirements for the sand track upgrade to include for earthworks, outcomes for services, stormwater and drainage requirements, electrical, water, irrigation, communications, crossings, access roads.
