Civil Contractor - Stages 17 and 18 - Fitzgibbon Chase Estate, Fitzgibbon Chase

The Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) invites tenders for the construction of Stage 17 and Stage 18 (also known as Area G2A & G2B) of the Fitzgibbon Chase development, Norris Road, Fitzgibbon.

Works involves the production of residential allotments to be serviced by roadwork’s, stormwater drainage, water supply, FiSH and sewer reticulation.

Stages 17 and 18 will be constructed as Separable Portions under the contract with Stage 17 preceding the construction of Stage 18.

The contractor is to provide separate construction programmes for each stage of the project indicating in detail the manner in which the works are to be constructed. Works are expected to commence early October 2014.

Stage 17 involves 17,000m3 of earthworks operations and the construction of 3,740m2 of road pavement area, 410 m of storm water drainage, 715 m of160 mm PE 100 sewer and 615 m of 100 mm, 150 mm and 200mm PVC water mains and 1200 m2 Bio-Retention Basin.

Stage 18 involves 4000m3 of earthworks operations and the construction of 2,200 m2 of road pavement area, 440 m of storm water drainage, 95 m of 160 mm PE 100 sewer and 415 m of 100 mm, 150 mm and 200 mm PVC water mains.
