WA Health Data Platform Provision of Program Director Services

Western Australian Health Data Platform (WA HDP) Program was initiated in 2021/2022 to develop the foundation for a scalable and extensible enterprise data platform that will provide a common source of truth for reporting across the WA Health system, and improve experiences for consumers, through the power of data. The program will provide the foundations for a scalable, enterprise-level data platform, to provide new data capabilities and enable benefits across WA Health, through various streams of work. The WA HDP Program requires a Program Director who can deliver the below outcomes: Manages the development and delivery of the WA HDP program of work within HSS, Program Delivery, to ensure and innovative, standardised and best practice approach.Develops and maintains effective program management including a coordinated framework that provides oversight and executive visibility of the WA HDP program of work.Liaises closely with the Department of Health and other WA Health Services, internal HSS ICT Departments and stakeholders to ensure a joint and coordinated approach to program development and delivery, including incorporation of operational principles and considerations into planning, design and construction, contributing to the whole-of-health strategic initiatives.Contributes to HSS program delivery and Health Support Services as part of the Senior Leadership teamDesigns, develops, maintains and delivers HSS project and program management methodology and quality assurance approach.Delivers a high risk, multimillion dollar ICT program within the approved budget and scope to an agreed timeframe, in accordance with Government policy.Manages and co-ordinates program management quality assurance reviews, against agreed programs, projects and/or initiatives.•Manages processes associated with budget requests and budget allocation for agreed programs, projects and/or initiatives.Provides strategic leadership, advice and direction to the WA HDP program team.Contributes to strategic and corporate direction of the WA HDP program at HSS and its utilisation across the WA health system.Contributes to the effective strategic management and corporate governance of the WA HDP program.Directs, leads and coordinates the provision of management and best practice project facilitation services for relevant project streams within the WA HDP program of work.Leads and manages the WA HDP program of work and ensures delivery and operational outcomes within budget allocation.Leads people management activities within the program and demonstrates an ongoing commitment to developing staff within the HSS values.Applies corporate governance requirements to the activities of the program.Advises on high level policy and strategic issues affecting the WA HDP program of work.Direct critical program initiation and development activities for the WA HDP program.
