The AVL Refresh Project procured bulk hardware early to save costs and expedite codec refresh works. The Department of Communities and Justice is negotiating a long-term contract for future hardware needs. Additional CISCO Codecs are needed for Courts, Tribunals, Remote Witness Rooms, Correctional, and Youth Justice AVL Suites. Spare hardware is also needed for emergencies. The tender was a selective tender with invited suppliers derived from 5 advanced suppliers on the ICT Services Scheme SCM0020.
