Noosa District State High School - Block E Refurbishment (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Block E Refurbishment at Noosa District SHS (Cooroy), located at Tulip Street, Cooroy QLD 4563, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

The works consists of the refurbishment of two General Learning Area spaces and includes New carpets and Vinyl floor coverings, New Glazing to the southern facade, New Joinery, New TV’s and Projectors, New Lights and Fans and internal painting to two GLA’s and external painting to the entire Block. The position of the building is at the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by March 2023.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

•Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

•Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
