The Department of Education (The Department or DoE) Information Technology Directorate (ITD) is seeking to engage an authorised F5 reseller to purchase 4 new F5 Blades (Cards) to replace existing out of support blades (Cards). Key objectives include: • Consolidation of the existing fleet • remove end of life hardware from the fleet • extend the useful life of network equipment whilst managing risk to critical services from equipment failure or outdated software • continue to provide highly available IT services to our customers • replacement of aging F5 load balancing equipment will assist F5 platform meeting the Essential 8 cyber-security requirements for vulnerability patching and achieving the ongoing cost savings from replacement with a reduced footprint of new equipment.
