New Build – Aboriginal Heritage Register (AHR)

A new contemporary and fit-for-purpose Aboriginal Heritage Register (AHR) is required to deliver on core business requirements. This also opens the door on many opportunities for expanded functionality and the realisation of significant efficiencies in undertaking core regulatory duties. It is an opportunity to ensure the system represents contemporary best practice and aligns with other jurisdictions in its capabilities. This includes meeting our obligation to support data sovereignty for Aboriginal people by implementing a system that can facilitate external access to data.
