Description
The metropolitan Child Development Service (CDS) provides a range of assessment, early intervention and treatment services to children with, or at risk of developmental delay/ disorders including Aboriginal children.
Respondents are asked to develop a proposal for the delivery of culturally appropriate services to Aboriginal children with developmental concerns. The emphasis of the request is on social/ emotional, and speech and language issues, however services may also address other developmental concerns. Services can include individual therapy and/ or group programs which may be delivered in a range of settings. Respondents may use/ expand existing successful models or submit new and innovative practice ideas.
