Design and Deliver a Residential Introduction to Management Course Program

The Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO), a Group within the Department of Defence, employs a large number of scientific, professional, technical and administrative staff at a number of sites across the country. Many of these staff are required to manage elements of the organisation. DSTO recognises the need to provide leadership and management development opportunities for them as they take on roles involving significant management responsibilities. To assist in meeting these responsibilities, DSTO has introduced a Leadership and Learning Development Framework.

The Residential Introduction to Management Course (RESMAN) is a key element of this Framework. It provides the first step in a series of customised development programs accessible to staff at appropriate stages during their career in DSTO. DSTO is seeking the services of a training consultant or consultants, for an initial period of two years, to design and facilitate delivery of the RESMAN program.
