SKILLS TASMANIA Workplace Skills Program Delivery of Training in 2011

Tenders are invited from registered training organisations for the delivery of nationally recognised training in 2011. The Program is a contestable program, designed to respond to skill development needs identified by industry and enterprises; communities and individuals. The program is aligned with Tasmania’ s Vocational Education and Training policy and planning processes which are informed by government strategies and priorities for economic and community development. The objective of the program is to support skill set based training in line with the priorities of the Tasmanian Skills Strategy, to fill the gaps in the training system and to meet needs not covered by other funding programs. The Program supports strong partnerships between registered training organisations (RTOs) and enterprises and or industry associations.
