Linemarking

Description
The City Council of Whyalla has an ongoing resealing program of its sealed road network. Council is seeking the services of a linemarking contractor to remark roads which have been resurfaced or rehabilitated. Council will also require additional work in remarking existing linemarking on other roads, this will include school crossings, bike lanes and other symbols. The reseal program has been split into two campaigns - campaign 1 will be in March 2008 · - campaign 2 will be in April/May 2008
Linemarking will be required 2 weeks after each campaign has been completed with all linemarking to be completed by 6 weeks after completion of sealing. Additional remarking of solid and broken lines and symbols to existing roads will be at the direction of councils infrastructure technical staff. All linemarking undertaken is to be in accordance with Australian Standard AS1742 "Manual of Traffic Control Devices".
