Ballarat Health Services is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Service Provider/s to supply Domiciliary Oxygen Program clients of the Statewide Equipment Program with the appropriate goods and services to meet each client’s oxygen and oxygen equipment needs according to a clearly defined specialist’s prescription. Interested parties can obtain the RFT document by downloading from the website https://www.tenders.vic.gov.au and quoting reference RFTSWEP2011-001.

The DOP provides subsidies to assist eligible people with domiciliary oxygen including oxygen gas and associated equipment. In 2010/11 it is estimated that the program will provide domiciliary oxygen to around 5,500 clients (adults and children) across Victoria.
Detailed requirements will be included in the RFT.
Ballarat Health Services is undertaking a competitive tender process to establish a contract with service provider/s for each of eight geographical catchments which align with the Department of Human Services (DHS) regional boundaries.
The contract for the Domiciliary Oxygen program will be for on a fixed 2 year pricing schedule.
Ballarat Health Services will close the RFT on the 31st of March 2011 at 2:00pm AEDT with an expected decision reached by the 13th of June 2011. The service contract is expected to commence July 2011.
