Description
The South Australian Fire and Emergency Services Commission (SAFECOM) on behalf of the Emergency Services Sector (ESS) seeks suppliers of Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) systems, who can provide supply, installation, deployment, and support services, and participate in field trials during January and February 2021.
The objectives of this project are to:
- Provide situational intelligence of deployed Emergency Service Resources, viewable at a tactical level (field commander)
- Provide situational intelligence of deployed Emergency Service Resources, viewable at a strategic level (Regional and State overview)
- Enhance Emergency Management
- Enhanced Safety via Location Data
- Planning data to support future capacity planning
It is anticipated that shortlisted respondents who successfully complete the field trials will be invited to submit an offer in March 2021 to enter into a contract for a four (4) year term.
