Edinburgh Laser Laboratory Rationalisation & Chilled Water and Electrical Upgrades

The Scope of the design is to reconfigure and refit the existing Laser laboratories with some additional services in order to create a better working environment that meets current and future OH&S and operational requirements.

These laboratories will require physically large racks of power supplies, cooling units, diagnostic equipment, in addition to large optical tables, which cannot be accommodated in the current laboratories. The current limitations in floor plans result with spaces not large enough to provide a suitable separation distance between the source and the target to avoid contaminating the laser optics.
