Description
The Royal Australian Mint (the Mint) is a major Canberra tourist attraction with a public gallery and shop that attracts
up to 360,000 visitors annually. The Mint is proposing to undertake a refurbishment of its ground and first floor level
public spaces under the Visitor Experience Enhancement Project (VEEP). The project is located on Denison Street, Deakin
ACT 2600.
This tender is for engaging a Managing Contractor to undertake construction activities for the project.
The Principal has prepared ‘For Construction’ documentation and intends to engage the Managing Contractor through
a lump sum tender process.
Following the receipt and the assessment of the responses to this tender process, a preferred tenderer will be selected
to enter into negotiations leading to the award of the contract.
