Electrical Works - Clipsal 500 Adelaide

Expressions of Interest are sought from suitably qualified organisations for the purpose of providing Electrical Works services to the South Australian Motor Sport Board for the Clipsal 500 Adelaide 2016 event and continuing until the 2018 Event, subject to satisfactory performance.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following;

• Installation, testing, commissioning, and dismantle of the superintendents electrical infrastructure as required to facilitate the Clipsal 500 Event.
• Establishment of electrical and data wiring of all site offices.
• Tag and test each year all Principal owned electrical equipment, and electrical accessories within the Principal’s and Superintendent’s site offices.
• Installation of all electrical circuits for the Pit Building erection including supply of temporary power throughout the erection and dismantle phase.
• Inspection and pre testing of all existing equipment with any damaged equipment/materials being reported to SAMSB along with a condition report of all equipment.
• Installation of switchboards and distribution Installation of electrical infrastructure including aerial cables, safety bunting, and support poles.
• Various administrative works including: reporting, providing design documentation, on site attendance, surveillance and maintenance during race weekend, ordering of new materials etc.
• Work with the Superintendent to facilitate changes requested by the Principal.
• Atendance, surveillance, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of all electrical circuits pre, post and during the Event.

A comprehensive Scope of Works will be provided to the applicants chosen to proceed to the tendering stage.
