SA Department of Primary Industries and Regions South Australia
Mid North Forests Future Strategy Request for Proposal
Details
Description
The South Australian Government is seeking options for the potential future use of land in the Mid North forests region.
The request for proposals is a competitive process which the South Australian Government is using to determine future uses of forest lands and support regional economic growth, while ensuring environmental and community values are maintained.
This follows the Expressions of Interest (EOI) process which closed in August 2015. The EOI process provided government with strong evidence of market interest in potential future land management uses for the Mid North forests.
Those who forwarded an EOI will need to submit a binding RFP as part of this call in order for their proposal to be considered in this process.
Parties that did not submit a non-binding EOI can submit a binding Proposal through the RFP.
An information session to explain the RFP process will be held in the Mid North region. Those registered via SA Tenders and Contracts will be notified of details.
