WA Department of Justice
Employee Assistance Program
Details
Description
The Department of Justice (DOJ) is seeking to appoint a Panel of providers for the provision of an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for employees and their eligible family members.
DOJ employs approximately 7,700 employees located in Perth metropolitan and regional locations throughout Western Australia. DOJ provides a diverse range of services, which include:
- Justice Services - court and tribunal services, corrective services, offender management and community safety and victim support
- Services to the Community - advocacy, guardianship and administration services, trustee services, and birth, death and marriage services
- Services to Government - policy advice, legal advice and representation and legislative drafting and related services.
DOJ personnel undertake a broad range of activities and functions spanning multiple industries and professions. Due to the breadth and scope of activities conducted by DOJ, employees may be exposed to a wide range of health and safety risks, including psychosocial risks such as exposure to occupational violence and aggression and exposure to potentially traumatic events.
DOJ is committed to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of all employees and therefore requires the services of suitably qualified and experienced psychologists to provide services to employees who may experience such risks. It is essential psychologists understand the work requirements and demands of employees in these roles and have specialist skills and experience in delivering psychological intervention within this context.
The Services required are divided into two categories:
- Category 1 – Core EAP Services
- Category 2 – Specialised Psychological Services
Respondents are invited to submit an Offer for one or both categories. DOJ anticipates that the Panel will be established as follows:
- Category 1 – up to Two Panel members that can provide the Services state-wide.
- Category 2 – One or more Panel members that can provide the Services state-wide or to any location (metropolitan or regional).
The resultant Head Agreement will constitute a standing offer whereby Customers may access the Services on an ‘as required’ basis during the Term of the Head Agreement.
