Description
The Public Transport Authority is seeking tenders from suitably capable artists for the provision of artwork to be developed for Butler Station. The successful artist will be responsible for creating and developing an artwork concept/design to the satisfaction of PTA and the station design consultants. Once approved by PTA the artwork concept/design will then be developed by the Artist into a built work suitable for installation by the Artist at the station during the station construction contract. The Artists built and installed work must address all PTA’s requirements as outlined in this Proposal.
Artworks at stations are intended to contribute to a sense of place by helping to create a distinctive identity and character for the station to help make the station a more stimulating and enjoyable environment for commuters and staff.
