Description
Parks and Wildlife Service invites tenders for the construction of a reinforced concrete spillway and associated earthworks for the Lake Llewellyn Dam, located in Northwest Tasmania, at Sisters Beach. The dam was constructed in the 1960's and has an earthern embankment, 8m high and a full capacity of 340ML. The existing spillway consists of a 15m wide x 1.4m deep broad crested wier and does not meet current guidelines. The upgrade requirement includes a 37m long x 15m (maximum) wide reinforced concrete side entry spillway and associated earthworks.
