Tasmania's Next Iconic Walk Stage 2 Planner (Development Approvals)
Details
Description
Tasmania’s Next Iconic Walk (NIW) is a Tasmanian Government regional economic development project.
The multi-year and multi-stage project is being managed by the Parks and Wildlife Service. The current and first project stage is a feasibility study that is testing options to develop a walk in the Tyndall Range on Tasmania's West Coast (between Queenstown and Tullah). The feasibility study is described for context and is excluded from the service (below).
If a preferred feasible option is supported, during the second and next project stage formal development approvals will be sought. A consultant is required to scope the development approval pathway and required approvals, complete an evironmental impact assessment, and prepare applications and manage processes to obtain approvals.
