Sunday Creek Pump Duplication Installation Works

All GVW Contractors who tender for works with a total of 100k or more will be required to have a third party certified safety system. e.g. AS/NZS 4801:2001

The Goulburn Valley Region Water Corporation invites Tenders from suitably qualified Contractors to submit a Tender for the following works.

Scope of Works

The Sunday Creek pump station was constructed in 2004 with a single Flowserve 4 stage horizontal centrifugal pump with 450kw motor and switchboard with variable speed drive. At the time a second foundation was cast with allowances made in the pipework to tie in a second pump, at a future time.

After 20 years of operation the existing Flowserve pump requires an overhaul, so the second pump is now required to facilitate the Flowserve pump overall. The principal has already purchased the second pump, a Caprari 4 stage centrifugal pump, direct form the supplier and will free issue to the winning tenderer. The Caprari pump will be available on site for the installation works.

All other premanufactured components need to be supplied as approved by the Melbourne Retail Water Authorities (MRWA) product portal including GVW approval. Any other supplied products require approval from GVW before proceeding.

A compulsory site inspection with representatives of the Corporation is required.
