Prevention and Early Detection of Cancer in the Community

The Cancer Network of Western Australia (CNWA), a division of the North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS), is responsible for the delivery of prevention and early detection of cancer programs underpinned by the WA Cancer Plan 2020-2025. Developed through consultation with a range of internal and external stakeholders, it represents interests across WA to address factors that impact cancer control and research. Targeted health promotion, early intervention by primary care health professionals and early detection can all be effective in reducing the cancer burden in WA. The community outcome for this procurement seeks to ensure individuals and the general community have access to high quality cancer preventative and early detection information and services across WA which improves and protects their health. The Prevention and Early Detection of Cancer in the Community comprises of several services which are divided into five service streams. NMHS is seeking a single service provider which will be required to supply all the services outlined in all five service streams.
