BUILDING REGIONS THROUGH HORTICULTURE

This project will be delivered across the horticulture industries and communities of the State on behalf of the Industry Development Board Horticulture (IDBH). The IDBH is made up of independent members that report to the Deputy Premier on the strategic and planning issues for the growth of horticulture in SA. The project is for the provision of consultant services including strategic planning, group facilitation, community engagement, negotiation, project development, funding and evaluation for the future development of the State##s horticulture industries. The project has three stages: 1. Engagement and Strategic Planning 2. Opportunity Capture 3. Establishment and Reporting The project will be conducted over two years, subject to ongoing funding availability, with the successful consultant/s commencing by the end of february 2001. This is an intensive, challenging, hands on project which is likely to require a broad range of skills and expertise. Individuals or consulting groups are encouraged to register their interest including those without experience in horticulture. The consultant will be chosen through a stringent selection criteria.
