DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE – SA POLICE COMMONWEALTH COURST PRECINCT – SA POLICE RELOCATIONS - CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Registrations of interest are invited from DAIS prequalified category 1 contractors able to perform the role of Building Consultant and Construction Manager for the relocation of some elements of the SA Police from 1 Angas Street to a number of facilities in the CBD area. It is anticipated construction activities will commence late November 2000 and are to be completed by August 2000 so as to enable the handover of a vacant site by 31 December 2000 for the proposed Commonwealth Court. The successful tenderer will participate in the project team comprising architects, engineers and quantity surveyors, and will be responsible for professional building consultancy input during the documentation phase and for construction management during the construction phase. Registrations are required to supply the following information:  details of experience as a building consultant/construction manager  details of company procedures and policies relating to quality assurance, industrial relations and safety issues  details of technical and administration expertise to be contributed to the project team  financial reports and profit and loss statements  details of key team personnel proposed Registrants are advised that a short list will be prepared, based on assessment of all information provided as the registration and tenders will be sought from these selected firms. No registration will necessarily be accepted.
