Kogan Creek Power Station
SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF six (6) pinch-type valves which must have the capability for material isolation on a NB150mm 5 km long pipeline for the transportation of coal ash slurry from the power station to long term disposal facility. The valves will be used for isolation of coal ash slurry flow on the pipeline with a design pressure of 100bar and a temperature of up to 70 degrees C.
The coal ash slurry contains a mixture of fly ash, furnace bottom ash and water up to a solids weight concentration of 70% and is highly abrasive.
The valves shall have electric actuators and manual handwheel operation and be controlled automatically as required via the plant controls system.
