Description
The Department of Home Affairs seeks to engage “a” suitably qualified organisation to transport Australian Border Force (ABF) Detector Dogs between regional units and/or the National Detector Dog Facility in Bulla Victoria. ABF has regional units in Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
(a) The transportation may include to overseas or external Australian territories.
(b) The transportation method is by airplane between regions and animal transport vehicle from airport to delivery point.
(c) Other government agencies such as the Australian Federal Police may utilise this service.
(d) This contract is a non-exclusive contract. The Department may utilise other companies or methods of moving dogs where there is an operational, financial, time or other reason to do so.
The Commonwealth of Australia as represented by Department of Home Affairs (the Customer) is seeking submissions for the provision of the services (the Requirement) as described in the Approach to market.
