Provision of Design Consultancy Services for Office Renovation Works at the Public Transport Centre and Associated Works

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) requires a consultant to undertake design consultancy services for the Office Renovation Works at the Public Transport Centre (PTC) and associated works (the Project). The first phase of this project was for the contractor to undertake a review of PTA facilities and its accommodation requirements. Considerations included planning for the future, desks and resourcing and rooms. The contract was to produce a report which was to include the best mix of divisions and branches. The Public Transport Authority awarded contract PTA230406 - Future Planning of Public Transport Centre to Cameron Chisholm Nichol (WA) Pty Ltd. This contract covered the first three stages of the project: Stage 1 Project establishment and base model development Stage 2 Strategic workplace planning (draft report) Stage 3 Basic Level Floor Plans Report with updated Design Guide. The extent of the Project over which the services are to be provided includes, but is not limited to the phased removal of the existing seven (7) floors of amenities, the phased installation of replacement amenities and minimal disruption to employees. The extent of this request is for Design Development, Construction Documentation, Pre-tender Document Formation and Review as well as Support services during tender period and Support services during construction and defects liability period.
