RAAF Base Tindal Corrosion Control Facility

The Corrosion Control Facility (CCF) is located at RAAF Base Tindal, approximately 320kms south of Darwin and near the township of Katherine, in the Northern Territory. Within RAAF Base Tindal, the CCF is located at Building 553 within the 75 Squadron Support Zone adjacent the airside portion of the airfield to the southern end of the Base.

The CCF has direct taxiway access to airside and sits adjacent other support facilities for the Squadron.

The Corrosion Control Facility (CCF) Upgrade will require the Design and Construction (D&C) of the works, including :

a. New Plastic Media Booth

b. New K-Group Store

c. New Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Storage.

d. Extension to Existing General Store

e. Additional Waste Water Tank.

f. New Ablutions Building.

g. BCA/MFPE Non-Compliances

h. Australian Standards Non-Compliances

i. Hazardous Areas Certification Non-Compliances

j. Building Dilapidation Upgrade

k. Building Services Upgrade
