Head Contractor - Strathpine West SS ? Covered Link Replacement (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Covered Link Replacement and structural rectifications at Strathpine West SS, located at 16/22 Garbala Drive, Strathpine, QLD, AU, 4500, as part of the Targeted (TARGETED) program.

The covered link replacement joins the undercover area to the school amenities located in the centre of the school, including retaining wall replacement, and stormwater rectifications. The resource centre, is located to the western side of the school, includes structural rectification and stormwater rectification works. There is limited space for working area and site compound available. All works are to be completed by September 2025.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
