Scaling of Southern Bend Boulder Cluster – Oceanview Track, Burleigh Head National Park

QPWS recorded a boulder fall in Burleigh Head National Park that caused damage to the Ocean View Track, necessitating track closure. The rock fall originated from a cluster of boulders immediately adjacent and upslope of the Oceanview Track. The successful contractor will be required to carry out all remediation work outlined in the contractor specifications. It is expected that scaling works will be undertaken over a two week period and will include the mechanical movement of approximately 37 identified high risk boulders.
